Background

TKRJ has established an Income Generating Activity (IAG) In Dzaleka Refugee Camp Malawi – Carpentry Workshop as a sustainable financing mechanism. This initiative empowers refugees, vulnerable youth, and people with disabilities by providing vocational training, employment, and business opportunities.

The workshop produces:

  • School furniture (desks, chairs, blackboards)
  • Home furniture (beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs)
  • Agricultural tools (wooden handles, crates)
  • Custom carpentry and repairs
